Greenville makes the list!

Greenville recently made the list of the 100 best places for kids to grow up.
I imagine there are a number of reasons we made that list.
Where should I begin...the City of Greenville has incorporated a number of venues just with our kids in mind. Downtown will soon boast a Children's Museum, there's is already a water feature just below Starbucks near the art studio's, and a lovely flower garden is just past the water feature. The trolley, a free ride, runs downtown when there's no Drive Baseball game and is a favorite of children and adults. The trolley has become a tremendous fun thing to do. Now there's a miniature sized 'miniature golf', ice cream and treats are found every few blocks. My grandson and I love to ride the bus to town and just buy a hot dog from one of the vendors and sit outside and eat. The streets are well policed and you can feel pretty safe. Friday nights offer live music and yes some carnival type games for the kids down by the Hyatt.
We recently attended out first children's play at the Peace Center. I've already eluded to the Greenville Drive games that for as little as $5 you can sit on the grass...watch the kids stand at the fence and really have a fun time at the ball park. Yes, the Braves are great but just look at the cost difference and you and your young fold will really love this venue. Tell me the things Greenville offers your kids.
