Things that you missed but more to come.

First of all, you may have missed First Friday...but don't worry. If you are interested in the art community you really should join MAC...Metropolitan Arts Council here in Greenville, its free and will really link you to art, dance, theater, music and lots of other great things goin' on.

Next if you have kids, check out the Library System. Last night the "Mad Scientist" was at the
Main Branch downtown and taught young and old some of the scientific principles of air pressure. It was a hoot. My three year old loved it as much as my seven year old and adults got some reminders of what we knew but didn't remember. There's a whole list of events worked around their summer reading program. There also many craft workshops, all of which are free . I am amazed at how many things for kids, teens and adults are going on through out the area. I hear the young professionals are dancing at the Blue Martini and there's always the Handlebar to listen and dance.
Of I forgot that MAC has oldie movies downtown, free and the MAC website will give you details...I know some are on Thursday.
The downtown was full of people this past weekend...really awesome place to live...Greenville. South Carolina.
